Terms of Use

The agreement between you and My Tindahan when you browse, buy or sell here. Using the site means you accept these terms.

1. What My Tindahan is

My Tindahan is a venue. We connect buyers and sellers in the Philippines and give them the tools to list, order and deliver. We are not the seller of the items listed here, we do not own them, we do not inspect them, and we are not a party to the contract of sale between a buyer and a seller.

That contract is between the two of you. The seller is responsible for the item being as described, legal to sell, and delivered. The buyer is responsible for paying the agreed price and giving a correct delivery address.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
  • Use your real name, a real email address you can receive mail at, and a real Philippine mobile number. We verify the email address before an account can be used.
  • One person, one account. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
  • Creating an account and buying are free.

3. The seller fee

Selling requires a one-time fee of ₱50, paid by GCash, Maya or any QR Ph banking app to the account shown on the payment screen. You then enter the reference number from your receipt and upload the screenshot.

  • An administrator checks each payment by hand. Approval is not automatic and is not instant.
  • Once approved, the fee is not charged again: unlimited listings, no listing fees, and no commission on your sales.
  • A payment we cannot match to a real transfer will be rejected. A rejected payment is not a debt — you simply are not approved to sell.
  • The fee is not refundable once your seller account has been approved. If we reject your payment in error, tell us and we will fix it.
  • Buying stays free from the same account, whether or not you ever sell.

4. What may not be listed

Do not list, offer or sell any of the following:

  • Anything illegal under Philippine law, or stolen, counterfeit or smuggled goods.
  • Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or their parts.
  • Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or prescription medicines.
  • Live animals, protected wildlife, or products made from them.
  • Human remains, blood, or body parts.
  • Pornography, or any sexual service.
  • Another person's private data, account credentials, or identity documents.
  • Recalled or unsafe goods, and items that infringe someone else's trademark or copyright.
  • Anything requiring a licence you do not hold.

Listings must describe the actual item honestly, with your own photographs of it, at a real price. No bait listings, no fake stock, no fake reviews.

5. Orders and delivery

  • A delivery fee is added at checkout according to the buyer's delivery zone. The rates in force are shown before you confirm the order.
  • The seller arranges delivery and updates the order as it is shipped and delivered.
  • If more than one seller's items are in one order, each seller handles their own part.
  • Payment arrangements between a buyer and a seller are theirs. My Tindahan does not process or hold payment for goods and takes no cut of a sale.

6. Reviews

You may review an item you actually bought. Reviews are public and shown with your name. Write honestly and keep it about the item and the transaction. We remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent, or written to attack a competitor.

7. Suspension and deletion

We may suspend or delete an account, and remove any listing, if we reasonably believe it breaks these terms — in particular for fraud, fake payments, prohibited items, or abuse of other members. We try to warn first where it is fair to do so; for clear fraud we act immediately.

You may ask us to close your account at any time through the contact page.

8. Advertising

Some pages may carry advertising supplied by a third-party network. Those adverts are not endorsements, and we have no control over what is advertised or over the advertiser's own site. Dealing with an advertiser is between you and them. See the privacy policy for what the ad network may collect.

9. Limits of our responsibility

The site is provided as it is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee any listing, seller or buyer.

To the extent Philippine law allows, My Tindahan is not liable for loss arising from a transaction between members, from an item not being as described, from a failed or late delivery, or from a payment made outside the site. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Act of the Philippines.

10. Changes, and the law that applies

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and continuing to use the site means accepting the update.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the proper Philippine courts.

Questions about any of this: the contact page.
